We’ve been proudly serving the Manchester community since 2017. As a family-owned business, we take pride in offering fresh, flavorful Indian food with a personal touch. Our loyal local customer base and consistent quality have helped us become a trusted name for Indian takeout in the area.
What type of food does Indigo Indian Bistro serve?
We specialize in flavorful North to South Indian cuisine. Our menu features classic dishes like Chicken Tikka Masala, Tandoori Chicken, Biryani, and a variety of vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free options.
Where is Indigo Indian Bistro located?
We are located at 232 Spencer Street, Manchester, CT 06040—just minutes from Buckland Hills and downtown Manchester.
Do you offer takeout or dine-in?
We are currently a takeout-only restaurant. While we once offered dine-in service, we now focus exclusively on providing fast, flavorful Indian meals for pickup. You can place your order by phone, or in person.
Do you have vegan and vegetarian options?
Yes! We offer a wide variety of vegan and vegetarian dishes—from flavorful curries to hearty rice and lentil meals. We also have a dedicated vegan menu available both on our website and in the restaurant. All items are clearly labeled to help you choose with confidence.
Are your dishes gluten-free or dairy-free?
Many of our dishes are naturally gluten-free and dairy-free, and we also offer gluten-free bread options. All menu items are clearly labeled to help you find options that meet your dietary needs. Please let us know about any allergies when placing your order so we can prepare your food safely.
Do you serve lunch boxes?
Yes! Our popular Indian Lunch Boxes include two entrée options, basmati rice, and a fresh bread choice. Vegan, vegetarian, and meat options are available. Lunch boxes are served from 11 AM to 3 PM, Tuesday to Sunday, and are perfect for work or school lunches!
Can I customize my spice level?
Yes! Most of our dishes can be customized to your preferred heat level. You can request mild, medium, or spicy when placing your order. We’re happy to adjust the spice to suit your taste—just let us know how you like it!

Tuesday – Sunday: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Do you cater for parties or corporate events?
Yes, we do! Whether you're planning a corporate lunch, family gathering, or special celebration, we offer customized Indian catering to fit your needs. Please check our Catering Menu on the website for details and portion options.
Are gift cards available?
Yes! Indigo Indian Bistro gift cards are perfect for holidays, birthdays, or simply sharing the love of Indian food. Gift cards are available for purchase at the restaurant, and you can choose any denomination that suits your budget.
Is the lamb boneless or bone-in?
Our lamb dishes are boneless, while our goat dishes are bone-in, prepared in traditional Indian style for maximum flavor.
Do you serve wine and beer?
Yes, we do offer wine and beer to-go in accordance with Connecticut state laws. You can include a beverage with your meal when you order takeout.
